The Business Promotion Centre (BPC) offers a “One Stop Shop” that provides launch, scale-up, and growth-related support to aspiring entrepreneurs and helps Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to benefit from many overlapping policies and programmes designed and implemented by the federal, provincial, and local governments.
NURP has supported BPC in preparing a robust strategic action plan for BPC, anchored in PMC’s vision document, periodic plans and ILEDS&APs. Through the development of this strategic action plan, BPC has actively assisted startups with financial and mentoring support. The initiative has expanded with the establishment of the Youth Entrepreneurs and Innovation Fund by the PMC, which has integrated human resources, financial literacy, and secondary capital market activities.
